FP Logo Folk Project: Star Lake Photos

Our festivals are organized events with scheduled performances, workshops, dances, round robins (singalongs), skits, boating, etc. Activities take place at many sites around the campground. Attendance is limited to 225 so that performers and attendees can enjoy time together to eat, talk, make music, dance, and relax in the camp's beautiful surroundings.

The Site

The site is very rustic, on a hill overlooking Star Lake. Concerts, dining and some workshops are held in a central building known as "The Commons," which also has semi-private bedrooms. There is a separate building used for Dancing. Small cabins are set aside as "jamming" spaces. Most attendees sleep in one of three Cabins, which are a short, easy walk from the Commons.

By the Lake

Star Lake has a small, lower section and a larger, upper section. Weather permitting, we have boating and swimming on Saturday afternoons when a lifeguard is present.
