FP Logo Folk Project: Contra-Cauldron (Contra Dancing)

Contra dancing is a form of country dancing done with long lines of couples. It resembles the Virginia Reel familiar to square dancers. Callers are drawn from all over the country. Beginners are welcome at the dance and are encouraged to come to the beginners instruction preceding the dance proper. No experience is necessary and one may come alone or with a partner.

The Contra-Cauldron

Alas, the ContraCauldron is no more. For Folk Project contradancing, please check out our other dancing venue, Swingin' Tern Dances.
