Our Workshop series helps to bring instructors with special insight and experience to teach local performers. Often, they are conducted by world-famous performers who have been booked at the Minstrel coffeehouse that same weekend. There is usually a fee.

Siobhan QuinnVocalist extraordinaire Siobhan Quinn effortlessly puts life into lyrics with just the right touches of heart, soul and color. Siobhan is a well known as a vocal coach and now she's here to help you get to your next level. Siobhan is part of a duo with Michael Bowers that has been taking the folk world by storm and has garnered Kerrville, NERFA, Folk Alliance, along with other awards and honors.

Toby Walker"How'd he do that?" An intermediate to advanced guitar workshop with Toby Walker. Toby is a dazzling guitar player who effortlessly picks and slides his way through blues, ragtime and originals with a little spice thrown in. Toby is often bombarded with questions by fans who have closely watched his fingerwork. Toby has been providing private instruction for years and he is a regular teacher at Jorma Kaukonen's Fur Peace Ranch. A cap on attendance allows for more individual attention to each player.

Cheryl PrashkerClassically trained yet very accessible, Cheryl Prashker will lead a percussion workshop to teach the best sounds for any style of music from celtic to rock and roll. Cheryl has been seen playing with an ever growing list of great performers including The Strangelings, Pat Wictor, and Red Molly. An assortment of small percussion instruments will be available for you to try.
